How to Cut Sweet Potato Wedges

Here’s the secret to perfect air fryer sweet potatoes – wedges style: It’s all about steady hands and sharp knives. Follow these simple steps:

Prepare: Give your sweet potatoes a good scrub. I like to leave the skin on as it adds the delicious caramelization that’s oh-so-good, but you can peel them if you prefer.

Slice in Half: Cut the potato lengthwise to create two even halves.

Slice into Quarters: Lay each half flat-side down and cut it in half again to create four long pieces.

Cut into Wedges: Cut each quarter into smaller wedge shapes. It’s best to keep them fairly large, as they do shrink a little during cooking. Aim for wedges that are similar in size so that they cook evenly.

Coating the potatoes with a dusting of corn starch greatly improves crispiness
