Gently place your eggs in the basket (no oil, no water needed).
Set the timer. If you like your hard-boiled eggs to be very firm, cook for 13 minutes. If you prefer them to have a jammy yolk, go for 10 minutes. Or for somewhere in the middle, opt for 11 minutes.
Once the timer beeps, carefully lift the eggs out (remember to protect your hands - a slotted spoon is perfect for lifting the hot eggs out. Then, pop the eggs into a bowl of ice-cold water for a couple of minutes.
Carefully peel the eggs and serve.
Notes
All air fryers are different, so it might take some experimentation to find the right length of time to get the perfect egg for you. Make a note of the ideal timing for next time.If you're not serving the eggs right away, you can peel the eggs but keep them whole and store in a lidded container in the fridge for up to five days. For easier peeling, begin peeling the egg at its fattest end as this is where an air bubble usually forms making it easier to remove the shell.Note: Nutritional information is approximate and for guidance only.
