Air fryer pork belly turns out irresistibly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender on the inside. This recipe is a favorite because it’s low on mess—no splattering or extensive cleanup, just delicious, perfectly cooked pork belly every time.
750g - 1kg piece of boneless pork bellyrind scored in a criss-cross pattern
2teaspoonsea salt flakes
1spritzvegetable oil spray
Instructions
Heat the air-fryer to 200C (400F).
Pat the pork belly dry using kitchen paper or a clean tea towel. Next, score the top of the fat - take care not to cut all the way through. Spritz the pork with oil and rub in the oil, along with the sea salt flakes.
Lift the pork belly into the air-fryer, skin-side up and cook for 30 mins, until the skin starts to crisp up.
Reduce the heat to 180C (350F) and cook for a further 20-30 mins until the pork is cooked through and the skin is lovely and crispy.
Let your pork belly rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
