This air fryer haddock recipe is quick, easy and filled with fresh flavors making it a great mid-week dinner that you can take from freezer to plate in next to no time.
Take one frozen haddock fillet per person and place on a piece of aluminum foil.
Drizzle the fillet with a little oil.
Wrap the foil around the fish loosely and scrunch up the edges to create a foil parcel.
Air fry for 9-12 minutes at 350°F (180°C). The fish is cooked when it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
Please note, nutritional values are approximate and for guidance only. These figures include the pesto topping. The time it takes to air fry haddock depends on how thick your haddock fillets are and whether you are cooking them from fresh or frozen. Here are the timings I use:
For fresh haddock fillets - air fry for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
For frozen haddock fillets - air fry for 9-12 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
If your fillets are particularly thick, add an extra minute or two.If using a thermometer, the internal temperature of the cooked fish should be 145°F (63°C) when fully cooked. You can tell haddock is cooked when it is opaque and easily flakes apart with a fork.
